Probably the best ever reality show to be created in East Africa (especially in Kenya where it all began). This is an amazing event, one of our own creation, with our own talent and in our home turf! This Blog is dedicated to making comments and creating a base for discussions on the ongoings of the Project Fame. Much thanks to the organizers and to Tusker, arguably the best beer on earth... (hey, am just being patriotic here).

Dr. Mitch now has a new partner!
Apparently, Sheila Mwanyigah will no longer host TPF (well, TPF 6 to be precise). The new host is a stunning beauty and we can only hope she will be a great host as well. check her out

And finally, to end the long wait...
Here it is people, the official launch of TPF 6. This year, the reality show promises a lot more and will definitely be bigger than all the other preceding seasons. Let's enjoy it while it lasts.
For TPF, this is the chance to put East Africa in the world map of reality TV entertainment.

“HOUSE OF LUNGULA”SOUNDTRACK REUNITES FORMER T.P.F STARS
The soundtrack
for the highly anticipated film “House of Lungula” is finally out; writes
Shirley Genga of The Nairobian. The music video is currently available on YouTube
and contains never before seen footage of the actual movie.
But one
interesting angle to this blog is that the song “House Of Lungula” (give it to
me) is indeed written and performed by Ni Sisi Band. Okay, I know you are
asking where the hook is.
The hook
is that the band; which is made up of 7 members; has some well-known faces such
as Dan (tpf 4). Doreen (tpf 5) and Juveh (tpf 4).
John
Wambugu of Native Productions and Alexandros Konstantaras of Historia Films
shot the music video. The two also partnered to bring “House of Lungula” to
life on the big screens.
The film
stars big names such as : Lizz Njagah; Ian Mbugua; Sarah Hassan; Gerald
Langiri; Nice Githinji; Lenana Kariba; Sheila Kwamboka; Gitau Ngogoyo; Lydia
Gitachu; Helena Waithera; Diana Nekoye and Chura Konstantaras.
The film;
which is a light comment on the sexual lives of modern Kenyans will be out
before the end of the year and is rated 18 and over!

“THE GIRL AFFAIR”- AMILEENA MWENESI TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP PROJECT…
In
my own opinion; since Amileena Mwenesi left East Africa’s biggest singing
competition; Tusker Project Fame Season 4, she has been causing ripples in the
local entertainment scene.
She
has singles doing well in the charts and she has of late been featured on
couple of “collabo” hit topping hits.
She
just might be only shining star from the struggling reality show; and the only
vindication for TPF which alleges to look for untapped talent; Sylvania Ambani
of Sunday Buzz word; not mine!
But
even as Amileena is in the process of doing her album- and hope to be through
with it soon, Amileena is currently working on “The Girl Affair” project; which
is an 8-week program for girls who are aspiring, performing artists to get
training and mentorship.
The humble girl from the small Maragoli community
lives by the top beauty rule of-o smile!” and doesn’t she have a killer smile?
Are
you ready for T.P.F 6 starting this coming weekend?
